The credit card saga continues. Yesterday I received the PIN number for the card that wouldn't work having been told the PIN had not changed Today I receive another new card so will wait until I receive a PIN for that before activating it. I can't believe it is so difficult just to issue a new card and use the same PIN I have always used! I dont want to change card provider as I have a very good credit limit - not that I will reach that in my life time ever

Sue, you can change the pin on the card once you have activated it I think...you should be able to change it back to your old pin if you want or another memorable 4 digits

Nearly forgot, dad had his jab...he got the Oxford one

Lovely sunshine and blue skies. Still cold so yesterday's snow still on the footpaths so we stuck to the grass for our walk but it was lovely after last couple of days.

Nurses turned up at Gary's flat and he HAS HAD THE VACCINE. YAY. It's such a relief to know he's on the road to some protection from this damned virus now

Ahhhhhh, Chris, so pleased to hear Gary got his Jab

Why is nothing ever straight forward?? Want the porch windows changing...got the frames and glass, fella came out to quote...not straight forward so he has out me in touch with a guy who is coming tomorrow at lunchtime....I dread to think how much this is likely to cost..... groan

Everything costs an arm and a leg these days . Even if you take the chance and get the 'raggy lads' in, things still cost a bomb

Lol...my mechanic recommended a guy.. turned up, quoted...was reasonable, springs on me after quote he's a traveller.....I know he's reliable as mechanic had him, he turns up... completed the work in one day instead of 2, couple of slabs start to lift, I messaged him...he got back, bit vague...2 weeks, messaged him again with further issues...he turned up, looked said he would be back....work was put right at no charge, any issues... happy to come back, reason for vagueness...wife had covid!!!! Given a quote for further work and the quote runs until we want it!!
Guy coming out tomorrow on the lad today's recommendation... hope it's not too expensive
