Hi Vikki, Great news...not the most pleasant experience is it? If it's any consolation I've had 3 colonoscopies and the 3rd time I had it at the same time as the endoscopy. I've also had 2 barrium follow throughs and although I have previously had to spend a number of times in hospital on IV's BUT, finally after a better re-diagnosis and different treatment my colitis is under much better control. All the cancer tests were negative too...so there IS light at the end of the tunnel! If you do not get a satisfactory explanation for your symptoms maybe ask to be referred to another consultant - I went through 3 (all considered to be very good) until finally the 3rd one came up with the answer. So hang in there girl - I'll be thinking about you.

Excellent news !!! been there done that, its all a very worrying time, when I had my problems they thought I had Chron's disease, turn out I didnt thankfully, over time the problem has more or less sorted itself out, since then my sister has had to go through all the same only she was not so fortunate and has Chron's. Hope they get to the bottom of your problem (excuse the pun) and you are back onto the road to recovery.

Really, really, really pleased with your results Vicki, and don't worry about the barium x-rays coz I've had those many a time when I was a kid. They're being very thorough with you aren't the? All the best with the CT scan, I'm sure it will be a good result just like the others, fingers crossed. You'll need a nice relaxing holiday after all I think, you've been very brave and you deserve some "nice" now after all that "horrible" don't you!
