Hoseasons allow dogs in most of their holiday homes, and Welcome Cottages do as well.

I find Cornwall/south devon more disproportionally expensive for those cottages. We stayed in a lovely one just of Exmoor a while ago, that was next door to the owner who was a lovely lady, took me out on the moors on her horses! and sooo tranquil but about 10 min drive from town. Mind you need a decent car to get around there. LOTS of 1/3 hills! Going inland in Cornwall is also worth looking at, very peaceful and rural and lots of places to explore!
