Amazon?

Is Amazon safe to use?
Does it use paypal?
How long does it take for items to come?
DO they come in good condition and/or on time?
How reliable are they?
Just was browsing and thinking of getting the book of the bitch and a few Dandie Dinmont Terrier books, as i cant find them in the shops anywhere.
Any advcie and/or information appreciated

Hi Luke, I use Amazon for Christmas gifts and they have always been reliable (all but my immediate family live overseas so it's the easiest thing to do). Not sure whether or not they use paypal, I just use my credit card.

I think it depends on whether you are buying new or used goods.If you buy direct from the site itself then I think u can use paypal but when u register as a member u have to give credit card details anyway so when u make a purchase they automatically deduct the sale from your credit card unless u tell them otherwise.If u buy 2nd hand then I think u can pay by cheque if u wish.My goods have always arrived within 48 hours(books&cd's)

Luke Amazon is fantastic I buy half my Chrismas gifts on there, I pay with a credit card though so you may have to talk nicely to your Mum

I use amazon with a credit card, never had any probs, items always come within ETA.

never had problems with payment, but ive always found amazon very slow to deliver items that take longer than 24hrs to dispatch. like if it says usually dispatched in 1-2 days, it takes 2 weeks. annoying.

altho, if i buy used goods off other sellers, they come much quicker and really good condition too

I use my credit card with Amazon but have never had a problem with them. They keep you informed too, if an item isn't going to arrive on time.

yep - found them to be very reliable - I recently purchased a 2nd hand book from the site - through one of the sellers on it - and got the book within 48 hrs and it looked as good as new - very impressed
