Lost my baby basset Ishka today

I lost my baby basset Ishka today to GDV, (bloating and twisting of the stomach) she was only 17 months old, please all those with deep chested breeds be aware of how deadly and quick this illness strikes and that it can stike any age and any sex.

Be aware of the signs,
Distended abdomen
Unsuccessful attempts to belch or vomit
Retching without producing anything
Weakness
Excessive salivation
Shortness of breath
Cold body temperature
Pale gums
Rapid heartbeat
Collapse.
