Not coming into season

Posting this on behalf of Max's mum - Lottie

Lottie had her first litter last February (i.e. Max) and has not yet come back into season.

Her owners are a little worried that she hasn't come in, and aren't sure why.

We thought initially that it might be because they kept a bitch from the litter and Lottie still realises she has a "puppy", but then thought that other breeders keep puppies from their litters without problems.

Any ideas as to why she's not come into season almost a year after having her litter?

were her season regular before the puppies were born ?

Fairly regular - within a month or so

many things can delay seasons i read an article recently about the cold weather delaying seasons ..I wouldn't be too worried if she is happy bright and well
