Hope you had a lovely bonfire night fireworks seem to be in abundance last night not sure if that was the fine evening weather or the lockdown misery. However hope your animals and selves were all good. Gert slept through it all.

Around to the salvage today and then collect my books from Amazon at the post office, having them delivered there saved me staying in.

My 2 were not happy at all with the fireworks... just barking, not scared like my old girl used to get bless her
New windows getting dropped off at some point today, also waiting for our mechanic...he told my dad first thing...I said to my dad ask if he means 7am like last time...I was shushed and he hung up, I asked what time....first thing!!! So I got up at 7am and he isn't here yet, mum told him off as he didn't even check if I had plans today just went ahead and did it....he has just called and checked if the mechanic is here and mum said no, that I had been up for hours and there was no need for it..he put the phone down! we have had our Tesco delivery, mums consultant is calling around 11am so busy day for us

Morning each and those to come. I'm waiting for a phone call from BT. A time slot of two hours. So annoying. Good job I have a book to read. Have a good day all.

Hope your mum is now well on the way to a complete recovery and you are able to get a rest later.

The utility services really don't care about their customers. I had to phone British Gas yesterday as I have not received a bill for the latest reading only to be told that as I pay a monthly DD they will now bill biannually. Told them it would have been nice to be told or have a message on their site

Nice day here and a little warmer. Teazle walked, taken parcel for Barry to the post office and picked up our prescriptions, housework also done so now sitting have a coffee before starting lunch.

Mechanic has been.. coming back tomorrow with an electrical specialist.
Sue, mums hurt her leg again but it's much better now, this was her chest consultant because a new gp has begun interfering with her medication....the consultant and mum are not impressed

Yep call came through but on my mobile which as you know I have and haven't a clue much yet on what to do with it. . So rang bt and now fingers crossed all sorted. Hope all is well with everyone. Will drop you an email Kelly.

A clean, bright and crisp day here.

Dave still not fully right, so I took Rosie on our local walk again.

I finished a Ken Follet book a couple of days ago. I now know how they built different cathedrals in the old days . After wading through that, I need some light relief so am now re reading the Harry Potter books.

Afternoon all
Last night was fairly quiet, there's one house about six doors down who always have fireworks, New Year, Guy Fawks, in June and July also. Last night was wet and he only had a few and thankfully our two were not bothered.




There's always someone interfering Hope you get it sorted and Mum gets the right medication.


I've had an e-mail from Matt Hancock and like you I've no idea how they found my e-mail. The last time I had the 'high risk' warning was back in March by letter. Haven't read it all yet but seems to just repeat what they said in March


Bruno's eating not too good today, he's on a different pain killer (Gabapentin) but I'm thinking even these might be upsetting his tummy so will stop them and just give him the Metrobactin for his Gastritus (Tummy upset)
