New puppy names

Hi all

So so sorry I haven't been on in for ever!!

Everything is fab here.

Ivan my big boy is great. At the groomers as we speak being pampered as he was so desperately in need from all this hideous weather.

Rua is coming on leaps and bounds. She is such a fab little dog. We had started agilty but a back injury has stopped me.

I've had a little physio and am on the mend now.

Rua's breeder wanted me to give showing a go so we went to our first ringcraft last night and she did brilliantly. Just need to get myself a proper lead.

Anyway my big news is that we will welcome a new Vizzie boy home in 6 weeks time. Im so excited and can't wait to watch rua and puppy together.

Just having a problem deciding on names. Hubby and kids like Matisse, Im not sure it will suit. I like Casanova, Cas for short.

Ideas please

Nic xx

Thanks Anniebee.

How's your new baby doing. Big now I bet its been so long since I've been on.

Did you find it harder or easier with the second Vizzie

Hi Lacey

I do like it. Just not sure it will suit. I suppose I would just get used to it. I'm sure I'll be over ruled anyway

So much easier!

Sami has been a dream, 6 months old now can you believe?

The main reason he has been easier ( not that Kibo was a difficult pup in any way whatsoever ) is that when he was very little he demanded more of Kibo's time than mine when he was awake

Like most gingers he's been easy to train as he's so eager to please.

They are great as a pair and we socialise a lot with a local Vizsla group ( a viz whizz group ) and TBH, most people end up having more than one!

Just a question out of my own curiosity what's the stance on showing Rua with a docked tail, are there only certain shows that she can enter?

Yes I imagine its going to be alot easier with Rua here to entertain the new pup, as you say not that Rua was a difficult baby. At least Ivan can have a rest poor boy. Rua terrorised him!

The docking ban is only just about to come here so new baby won't be docked.

Rua is permitted entry into all shows in the Ireland just couldn't compete at Crufts.

My breeder doesn't compete at UK shows and always prefered the docked look as she has had a lot of trouble in the past apparently with dogs injuring their tails and not healing as they wag them constantly. But that's a thing of the past now which I have to say I am happier about.

I cannot believe Sammi is 6 months. Are there any recent pics of them both up. I'll have to go have a look xx
