new phone

I've got a new all singing all dancing phone its a Motorolla V 235
So out I went and got the US thingie cable, I pluged it it to the phone and the other end went into the tower thing but I need the hardwear program to get it working

Now where do I get that from(free cause I'm a bit mean)?

YOU - TIGHT ROB - I don't believe it

Did you not get a disc with the phone that installed the drivers etc cos my son Dan had a motorolla for Christmas - think it was the V3 and that had a disc with it already.

Perhaps you don't need a disc then perhaps if you just plug it in it will work. When you plug it in does it say new device found at the bottom of the screen on the right

Tried that it takes me to the wizard thing which ask me to put some hardwear thing in

Where did you get it from? I would have thought it should have come with a CD like Dans did, perhaps it is missing out of the box before you got it.

Does your computer not search for the drivers automatically when plugged in Rob??? I thought XP did it cause it detects new hardware and if there isnt any supporting software-XP finds it off the net?

its ment to but it rarely finds driver online if ever.
