Try clearing out your cookies and your internet cache ..once you've tried to close it down by the red X you've earmarked it and it will stay in your system ..try to close pop -ups via the box at the bottom (right click and close)

Haven't seen it for a few days now, but then, I use a Mac, not a PC, and I don't use Internet Explorer (although I do have it). No doubt, now that I've said that, it will probably turn up pretty soon, just to prove me wrong!
