I've got the Nortons Internet Security now whereas I used to have the two separate Nortons installed which was causing no-end of probs on my pc, but the Norton Int.Sec. seems fine, although I disable the firewall and use my XP Firewall instead as that's supposed to be better and you can't have both running together so I've been told coz they conflict.

AOL keep pushing me to have McAffee but I'm happy with my Nortons, and I had McAffee once before and again had a lot of problems.

I used to use Norton but it's such a system hog
it's ok if you have a powerful system to run it on (which i haven't at the moment)

I'm currently using AVG Free edition antivirus, Beta spyware, AD-adware se personal and zone alarm firewall with no problems whatsoever touch wood.

I use ZoneAlarm pro for firewall (I think it's better than XPs own)

Well I have just spent the morning installing the one that Fred suggested and run scans and it found loads of Trojan horses - I think I am going to have to build a stables in the garden
