WHWT Club Show @ Polmont - Visiting, need directions please!

Hi guys,

I know none of you on here show Westies, however, I'm wondering if any of you in the Polmont/Falkirk/Stirlingshire area can help me find the hall where the WHWT Club's Open Show is being held on Saturday.

It's in the Old Parish Church Hall in Polmont, which I think is between Falkirk and Stirling. Am I right?

I think I would get a train from Queen Street in Glasgow to Polmont, but where I go from there I have no idea! Anybody got any idea?

I really want to go for a nosey round so I'm thinking of just risking it and getting the train to Polmont and hoping I can find the hall from there!

Although it does sound like a bit of a trek from Polmont Train Station - assuming there is one!

Think I'll have to do a bit of research otherwise god knows where I'll end up! Knowing me and directions I'd probably end up in Inverness.

Main Street - I like the sound of "Main Street" as it sounds like it's in the middle or centre of town. So perhaps I'll get there afterall!

I got precise directions of where to go when I come out the station, so hopefully I'll actually get there! Mind you, this is me we're talking about here!

Today in work when I was talking about going to it a workmate said that's where the YOI place is....then said they wouldn't let me back out of Polmont if I went there! Cheeky b*gger.

Well, I managed to get there! When I got the the shops where the Co-op was, I had to ask a woman in the car park where abouts the hall was. Luckily, it was just 5 minutes along the road!

I really enjoyed watching the show and taking to the people there. I took loads of pictures which I'll post in the Terrier section should any of you wish to have a look.
