My gets 300g's a day split between 2 meals (so 150g's twice a day)

I found that if I fed her anymore it would make her porky. It works she looks great and people we meet seem to nottice how good she looks too which is nice ^^

If it's a bone he will eat and digest, like chicken wings or turkey necks, I count the bone and weigh the whole thing. Don't know if it's right, but it works for us.
I guess Pereg's general diet is working for her as well - it is not a major weight-reducing diet as a 1.5kg loss since September is not excessive, just rather satisfactory - and I have recently changed from giving her the bone meal every other day to two days out of three. I am actually considering giving her a bone meal every day for her first meal now as she stays satisfied for far longer on the days where she has the bone meal. If I do then I will either get the turkey necks cut into three instead of into halves [or cut them myself].

I have already reduced the wing meal down to one large or to small wings instead of the three I used to give her. The backs I do cut in half before freezing but there is not so much meat on them so a half really is not sufficient for her.

She has not really got any excess fat on her now but is still heavy for her size and shape - so it is difficult to know what to do, but she is definitely slimmer and apart from her epilepsy she is, according to the Vets, 100% healthy - so I guess I will just carry on as I am doing.

I usually give 1% to 2% of body weight of meat (including bone). I dont weigh the veg. It also depends on the weather/how much excercise etc.

1.7% of 27kg is 459g [16.19oz] so you are right!

Dont weigh it, never have. Just feed them and go by how they look. Simples!! Each dog will be different according to activity etc anyway.
