Sorry to hear he'd got distressed Dani - I am sure he will be back home with you soon. Just make sure he gets lots of quiet time - I know it's difficult, especially when they are bouncy like Bruno is.

Don't know if you can remember, but Ozzy had the same op? It's hard work keeping them occupied and chilled without getting bored. I found the crate an invaluable help in his recovery - I did everything from giving him frozen-filled Kongs, to leaving the Animal Planet channel on for him to watch.

It was worth it in the end and he even managed to run around a bit which was something I never thought he'd do again. Remember the video anyone?

I am absolutely sure that Bruno will be just the same and come through this with flying colours. He will be your bouncy boy again you wait and see.

thanks guys, he is sleeping this morning, and has accepted the playpen as got back in it himself this morning after his pee. He doesn't seem interested in food so will have to try to tempt him later, he also had really bloody poo which they told us just to keep an eye on....

thanks guys, bruno much brighter today, eaten his food and been out in the garden for a pee etc, with much more ease than before. he is also putting a wee bit weight on his leg today where before it was just hanging.

so think he is on the up !
