Whats your sandwich?

Ok, second from the cake question, i will be making all manner of sandwiches, bags, baps, rolls.
Obviously the usual, cheese ham, tuna yadda yadda, but i was wondering if up here there is a particular filling that might not be as relevant down south.
BLT, club sandwich etc are all the popular too....

so whats your fave?

Smoked salmon and cream cheese with a touch of black pepper. Definitely my favourite (when I can afford the smoked salmon!).

Failing that, I'll make a pastrami, gherkin and cheese (mature cheddar, stronger the better!) sandwich with sliced tomato's, lettuce and American mustard. Yum.

It is very tasty. Each flavour is different but they complement each other so well. I first had it in America.

Oh, and another one I just love. A Philly Cheese sandwich (or sub; they taste best in some crusty French bread)...steak, fried onions and melted black-pepper cheese. Served again with American mustard or just Ketchup (or both). Lush!!
