Why don't you get a sample? It does have an appealing smell to it (& I'm a vegetarian). CSJ do a gravy, I've not tried it though.

When mine are being picky which they are atm, not sure if it's the heat, I mix it. Fish 4 dogs salmon mousse is quite good, or even just salmon oil.
