Just wondering................

Hi Everyone

I really miss my dog Archie. He was a Golden Retriever. Very big and handsome!
I'm ready to get another dog now, just as soon as I move house. The trouble is I have no idea what sort of dog to go for. I'd like to get a small dog. My retriever was so intelligent and easy to train, and I'd like this dog to be the same. My sister has a french bulldog, who is totally adorable but not very bright! I like to go on lots of walks, so I need a dog who likes lots of exercise.
Any suggestions out there?

I`m fostering a Yorkie x shtzu for the local RSPCA. He`s active, bright and friendly. And needs a home!
I`m in Essex.
