you'll love it! I was not a fan, then slowly, it grew on me, as did the tent! 5 man thing for me, him and her majesty!

things to take
chairs - sitting on the ground drives me mad after a while
warm jackets
blow up mattress
extra duvet,
torches, erm
ear plugs
wet wipes
wellies
bottle(s) of wine!

we look like we are taking the contents of a go outdoors now i think about it, so maybe a bigger car..............

Why do people take ear plugs when they go camping?! Or do I now want to know?!?

We go a couple of times most years. Must haves for me are torches, chairs, couple of blankets, toilet roll and a bottle opener!! Nothing worse than buying a few drinks for round the bbq and then realising you have nothing to open them with!!

Couldn't agree more!! I always pack at least one roll when we go on any kind of holiday as you never seem to get enough in hotel rooms either!!

If you like to hear other farting, belching, having a row, crying babies, etc then of course ear plugs are not necessary......... also some people freak out hearing normal night sounds............
