I just saw this. have to say i was disapointed that with the amount of staffys and staffy crosses in rescue they didnt take the chance to show them in a positive light and make people more aware of their plight

I think when they do a program like that they take on the most adoptable dogs first and when they get the 1000,s of phone calls try and redirect them to the other dogs they have in rescue. Can't say I blame them if they do.

There was a thread about 'padfoot' a GSD that was in Harry Potter in rescue, but if its the same one, I thought he was being homed with a 13 year old GSD, or they both came from the same home anyways.

They did not say his name but he was being rehomed with an old Lab. The GSD was all black and the lab was yellow.

Yes the black one was padfoot he is about 10 and his white companion is Porridge (has appeared in lots of episodes of the bill) They ideally have to be rehomed together. There was a gorgeous Lab pup as well 13 months looking for a home (Tilly) she has lost 1 eye due to a detached Retina) and has a cataract on the remaining eys she was a bundle of fun and then snoopy the greyhound(7) was looking for a home too has been abused in the past and was very thin and scared when taken to the rescue but is putting weight on now.
