Perhaps it was then !! (lol) , but all the same, we expected nothing there and it did look odd, the appearance of him looking as if nothing had happened !!!

When Shay was neutered he wasn't given any ABs to take home or painkillers. The vet was of the opinion that being able to feel a bit of pain stops them from running about too much and forces them to take it easy. Mind you, he was up and running about like a loon the next day anyway but had no problems with recovery at all.

Thanks everyone. Mo is now fine, stitiches out and is sooooo much happier than he was pre op, we feel bad as he must have been in pain for a couple of months and because it's been a slow progression, we didn't pick up on it, it's only now he's back to normal we realise that! Awwww. He's back on good form anyway and NOOOOOO dribbles (HOORAY!!!!) His main problem with recovery has been his eye, they put in a dissolvable stitch so didn't remove it and it's been bugging him, as a result, he's scratched his eyeball and is on drops and under observation! ARGHHHHHHH! The vet had the nerve to say it was nothing to do with them leaving the stitch in...like ummm...ye...right!
