HELP!

Ok, as you all know Rosie is day 58 today, well so far she hasn't ate a thing today, but tonight she has been trying to be sick. Anybody out there with knowledge of breeding can tell me if they think this is the start of labour, or is it just because she is so uncomfortable and full feeling.

She's not panting or restless, pups are kicking like mad legs moving all over the place.

Somebody PLEASE reassure me, I don't think I'm going to be getting much sleep tonight.

going of her food can be the first sign for some.
panting etc is more noticable but it can mean labour will start soon.
good luck and keep an eye on her

I'd definatly keep a close eye on her tonight CC, Ruby had her pups a week early.

Cassy never really ate anything the last week of her pregnancy as I honestly think there was no room to put any food as she was so loaded with pups, and thinking about it she was sick a couple of times too. I'd phone the vet tomorrow and have a word if your still worried, but mother nature is a wonderful thing and I'm sure everythings ok and just part of the process.

Think she is uncomfortable that’s all. Are you taking the temperature, that is, I understand a really good sign that whelping is near.

good point isn't it if the temp drops it is a real sign of labour starting.

Temp is normal, I wonder could she have a bit of acid tummy?? Her belly has been gurgling like mad tonight and she hasn't eaten all day, she's very relaxed now fast asleep in her bed.

If it doesn't happen tonight I don't think it will be long, her tummy seems to have changed shape, she has her 'waistline' back if you look down on her, plus after a wee she has mucousy strings..........another good sign!

Will let you know if anything happens overnight, but I think we'll be ok for tonight at least.

Thanks
Sharon

Best of luck! The puppies in the tummy will drop before birth ready to whelp, the belly will drop, seem much lower!

Keep a close eye, good luck!
