the girls are smaller than the boys staffy usually quite a bit smaller when they are side by side.
most dogs aren't sure about them cause of their size but 99% of leo's will only want to say hello and play if they are young,he don't care what it is,we had 2 greyhounds,1 collie and a staff cross on the park and they all said hello in the group aleast 2 of them was males like him.

I love them, the temperment if bred responsibly and brought up right is amazing, its bomb proof! I visited a breeder and as soon as i walked in the door i have 6 leos on me! I love the way they just lean on you!
that's the way they should be gems, leaning isn't so bad it's when they sit on your feet you can't move.

i don't think most people really know the size of a leo untill they come across 1 cause they stick out like a sore thumb to most, but when you own 1 them just seem a large dog you forget the size untill people make the comments like it's a donkey etc.
good luck with you little girl......i take it your going for it!
then there will be 3 of us that own leo's.
word of warning it is true what they say if you have 1 you will end up with another............look at us and hectormums but i AM stopping at 2.(for now)

he is litter # 15 and they are related.
dads side Manorguard Fairy Tale for Vannroy
is litter sis to tobys grandad.......manorguard frederick.
dams side Vannroy Call Me Madam from Helkenna is litter sis to tobys mum.......vannroy princess laya plus this is holly's grandma.
hectors mum and holly's mum are litter sister so holly will be hectors cousin.....her mum is helkenna touch of class.
so they are all related but holly and hector are the nearest as cousins.

the girl that gems is looking at is also a related her grandma is vannroy golden charm which is another one of the girls from the same litter.

im no expert i am learning as i go like you,tob is 2 in march thats all but getting to know a few members that have had leo's for years which helps.
if i can help people regarding leo's i will try and things they get up to as hectormums will agree are normal for leo's even if it's not the norm for others.
but they do get better and worth the hard work in the end get though the first couple of years and you laughing as this is the hardest time with leo's big/strong but pup's and not quick on the up take.

Hey Hey

Cousins. What a small world!!

I must admit that mum is lovely and so's dad who has just sired another litter.
If Hector turns out like dad I'll be well chuffed.

I love the bit when they sit on your lap still thinking the're little and when they take your legs from under you ( does hurt though ).

We've been Hector'd loads of times.

About size I dont realise that he's big until some one points it out, he's just normal to me. It's nice to be able to stroke them without bending down.

Gems,

If you got a GSH you'll love leo's to bit as they are clowns and down right cheeky, also loving in a wet soggy, muddy way. I've had Labs and they are sooo different to train.
So forget all that Lab training and learn the Leo way.
