lie ins

does anyone here ever get a lie in?

I dont have to be at work til 1 today and thought great! i can have a lie in seeing as i was workin til late last night.

I obviously didnt think of the consequences of having a dog

Every morning at 8:04am without fail, indie is awake She runs to the door and throws herself at it in hope to wake me up, then whines for a bit. I can sometimes sleep thru this. then she whines a bit more, barks a bit. Then does a flying jump onto me and lays next to me and kicks me she actually physically kicks me in timing with a whinge. Then she gets all aggitated and thrashes about, then another whinge bark. Then she does another flying jump at the door, lies by the door and kicks the door for 20mins.

she then repeats the above til i finally get out of bed. I managed to stay in bed til 9:30 this morning, better than most days

I was even nice enough to take her out for a wee the first time she asked. After that i think she was hungry... or couldhear everyone else downstairs and wanted to join in

No chance of a lie in here either. 4 children, always up around 6.30am school or not, plus the dogs, so the latest I've stayed in bed for years is 8am

I get up, 'do the dogs', go to the shop, buy the papers, go back to bed with a cup of tea, papers and dogs, read papers, fuss dogs and go back to sleep. Wow!

Usually I lie in unitil 1 at weekends, but can't sleep today. I have just succeeded in winding the dogs up by climbing under the duvet and grabbing at their paws...hahhahahahaha
we love it!

lie in..... wots that? Haven't tried that since I got Luna

No matter if its weekend or not, we need to get up early - according to Luna

If I'm lucky I get to sleep till 8 in the weekends.... But if I move, she's there, and there's no use in trying to fall a sleep again.....
