Where can I buy drain covers?

Hey all,

Looking for covers for the drains outside in the yard, you know the kind I mean, the big square covers that the drainpipe fits into. Mainly so little wufflehoond doesn't drink from the water running down from the roof! Tried B&Q etc. any ideas?

I would try a builder's merchant (Travis Perkins?) rather than a "DIY" store, the latter being more interested in stuff they can shift quickly. After all, it is more of an item that a builder would buy!
I have used that type of place often, although sometimes dearer, the staff are (a) helpful and (b) know what they are talking about so I always feel that I get good service - and free advice - and come out with the right thing!
Good luck!

You're a handy person to know... going off topic slightly, do you know where I can get a list of suppliers of Velux windows? Their website is a little sparse....

Most builders merchants can order them for you Deccy at a competitive rate, but i just tried Screwfix and their prices came out really good!

That square one is the right kind of thing but needs a hole in the top for the drainpipe to go into. Think I'll ask the builder to see if he can get them from the builders merchant. Thanks though

We have one in the garden over our kitchen drainpipe, its black and plastic and we have to put a stone on top of it because Missy has learnt how to remove it and chews it.

Il ask my OH where he got it from.
