Are you allowed to take your own dogs along on the Saturday?

Depends what you plan on doing with them.

Generally speaking no dogs are on the field as "spectators" during the C & A section (except for competitors just coming off or going on).

I would certainly not recommend that you have a dog out on the field during the PD rounds.

I would ask Lorna, but that has been my experience at the KCCs I have competed/spectated at.

There's an exercise area near the base

Kirsty your dogs will spend most of the time in the car as you will only be abe to take them out at the base to exercise them and they would need to stay in the car at the tracks, C&A and PD.

The base on the Saturday is Thirlestance Castle and I haven't seen the exercise area yet but would imagine it won't be as relaxed as it is at our normal base
