Thank you all for your kind words. Dad being the impulsive soul he is, has got them a German Shepherd puppy to help with the grief of losing Sophie.

As soon as I can get a pic I will, however her name is Rose, and she apparently 'all ears and paws' in the way GSD puppies are I am sure Sophie is looking down now giving it yehaw with her helicopter tail.
