Long night ahead for one of our Horses

One of the horses has a weird case of colic or atleast we think it's colic, he's currently sending us mixed signals!

Anyway the vet was last out 35 minutes ago and has said he could do with walking round every two hours through the night.

I've got the 12 and 2 shifts and the other worker on site has the 4 and 6 shifts.

Going to have to set lots of alarms!

Ugh...having just been woken up after only an hours sleep I dont envy you that! Hopefully this'll be my only wake up call.... Well until Tonka decides she must get up at 6.15. I'd do anything to delay that wake up call to 8!

Fingers crossed for the horse!

He's doing ok this morning. The meds he had last night shouldn't start to wear of until nowish so the next few hours are key.

He was starting to get fed up of walking in circles but he was being a good boy and my colleague taking over has meant I could get at least a bit of sleep.

Everything crossed that he will now be OK. I know exactly what it is like having to get up every couple of hours as Pereg has a habit of needing to go out at least once on most nights, so I hope tonight will be unbroken for you!
