God I Hate Snooker!

Just thought you'd all like to know that!

Not only do I have to put up with it on my days off, but at the hospital I'm now working at they've done away with Patientline and have 1 big TV in the whole bay. Great, you'd think! Trouble is some weirdo insists on putting the snooker on! Brilliant!

Oh well, at least I'll be able to watch Wimbledon this summer!

Stop your moaning woman, its only for 2 weeks a year Im sure you can cope.
This will help the time pass.

Also is that pay tv in hospital still a rip off?

I'm not even going to look at that, my head might start spinning like the Exorcist!

Can't believe it's only 2 weeks though? Are you sure?!

As for Patientline, they've dropped their prices as they went bankrupt. The telephone is a complete rip off, but the TV, for me when I was hospitalised, was a god send!

Yeah, just two weeks, ends on bank holiday monday. So just over a week, how do you see it, I thought you stood about talking about soaps so no time for the snooker.

No, on this ward the philosophy is bay nursing. Which basically means you stay in your bay unless you need to do jobs which take you away from your bay.

No standing around discussing Coronation Street for this Nurse!

Mainly cos I can't stand it and don't watch it!

Playing snooker is one thing, watching it on tv - hell no!

Maybe they could buy a pot of grass you could watch grow instead?

I hate snooker with a passion

I remember 21 years ago I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with Christopher at the time, my OH came in from his usual stop of at the pub after work, flopped himself down on the sofa, and said, "there is absolutly nothing you can say or do that will stop me from watching the snooker tonight" I stood up to go to the loo, and woosh, so I looked at him and said "my waters have just broken" he never did get to see any snooker that night

Yeah a pot of grass would be preferable!
