Our Gang at the new Country Park

A friend and I have 10 dogs between us and often take most of them out together (some are too elderly now). Today we went to Cherry Orchard Country park in Rochford. I took 2, she took 3 of hers plus a foster - and Billy the dog next door came too!.(This is Billy) he was dumped as a puppy in Greece and rescued by GAR

You go through some woods - Daisy leads the way

then through the cornfields

this is the latest recruit - Ruby the Giant Schnauzer from Allbreeds, who has fitted straight in

and we meet new friends

and find muddy puddles

then round (and in) the Lake for a refreshing dip

and Shamus the Shorthair goes Ratting

Then back along the stream

and a pause on the bridge for a photo

Seven happy dogs now sprawled about snoring till the next meal comes along. Not a bad day, really.

Thankyou - all rescues bar the Foster. They include a Standard Poodle, a German Shorthaired Pointer, a GSD, a Spoodle (spaniel/poodle) a Giant Schnauzer and two lurcher/labs. The Saga brigade at home include another GSP from Ireland aged 14, a Beagley Hound from Greece aged 11ish and a GSDx terrier rescue who we think is 16. They are all huge fun.

Lovely dogs by the way!
