A Trip out in the push chair for Ivan

Well we took Ivan out in one of my sons old push chairs today. We did get some funny looks He isn't due his next vaccination until Wednesday so it will be another couple of weeks before he can go for a little walk and I wanted to continue the socialisation that his breeder has started with him. There is a large retail park near where we live and to get to it you have to cross a large dual carriageway so there were lots of sounds, sights and smells for him to take in. He was fantastic! There were lots of people, lots of loud traffic and he did not budge. My OH was starting to think he might be deaf His breeder said we weren't the first owners to say that to her. One of her other litter sat out in the garden of their new home looking up at the fireworks!
Ivan was a smash hit with all the people he met and sat so still and let everyone fuss him and lapped it up bless his heart.
I think all the attention wore him out. He's been out cold since!

Can just picture it and the reaction of people who were expecting to see a human child and were confronted with the handsome Ivan lol. A really great way to socialise a big heavy puppy like him and pleased to hear nothing phased him. Glad he enjoyed his push chair outing so much.

Bless him, so glad that he had a good trip

Photo's would have been nice too, but can understand that managing a pushchair and a camera may be a bit tricky

Thanks guys. I'm glad its only another two weeks before he can go for a walk. He won't fit into the push chair much longer. For those of you who missed them there are some pics of Ivan in the pics section
