Do your dogs get hiccups?

I just ask because when at the vets with Baku the other day he got hiccups and a man waiting with his dog said he has never heard a dog with hiccups. Baku is hiccuping now hence the thread

Oh god yes..

Cruiser is nearly 5 months and he has had the "hiccipups" since he arrived.. at least a few times a week..

Don't worry about it.. he will grow out of it

All mine got them as pups but Jakes the only one to get them as an adult.

aww bless baku,mine get hiccups especially chey and its so funny when he gets them he looks at me as if to say mam why am i making noises and moving my body at the same time

Yes, definately!

Ozzy sometimes get them,especially if he gollops his food! But I have known him get them with a fright, like when Sid likes to jump out at him from behind a hedge or something

I think they look so funny when they do it, when Ozzy hiccups you can see his ears flick up with each hiccup

Yes Toby frequently had the hiccups when he was a pup

Now he just lets out big loud burps when he has had a drink...especially milk

Zuki looks at me also with an expression as if to say why are you laughing at me, if she didn't look at me like that I wouldn't be laughing

Baku just carries on doing what he is doing, its so funny cause they make his whole body jump and if he is walking along he looks so silly

Vegas has hiccups,but you dont hear them-you see his belly moving.
