Have to say I'm of the 'not bothered as long as it's a dog' view.
All the ones I've owned in the past have been crosses or Heinz 57's but our family members own lots of pedigrees, ESS, cocker spaniels, Bouviers etc.

As long as it's happy I'm happy

The latest one i've heard of is Akitas and leos crossed
Couldn't agree more

I said 4 too, having owned a heinz 57 who was gorgeous and we had a very special bond.I now own a pedigree I think its nice to see what you are getting and owning this breed had been a dream I was able to realise,so to me it doesn't really matter I love them whatever.

I voted pedigree simply because I am heavily into showing so it's a bit of a prerequisite plus I am obsessed with my breed over any other breed or type.
Having said that, when I get my own place I intend going to the pound for a "heinz 57" and will simply pick the one that appeals to me, to have as a pet.

That's great Deccy! there's nothing quite like giving a rescue dog a home. Heart breaking but liberating all at the same time! :smt021
