Still no news, but already the Anti-biotics he's been given seem to be doing him some good - lets hope thats a good sign! Also I seem to have developed a cough of my own - so unless more sinister things than chest infections are contagious - I don't think he has anything worse than that.
Hoping we hear today as he goes to the barracks tonight.

There are lung conditions which are obviously catching such as TB, but like ALL health issues, if you looked up the list of POSSIBILITIES you would probably start writing out your will.

As they say in the trade, when you hear hoofbeats think horses, not zebras.......

Hope all is fine.

No news is good news right?

Had nothing back from the radiology department or the hospital, he's been told that if he doesn't hear back from them he is to make another appointment with the GP.

He seemed a lot better, his cough wasnt as chesty today as it has been, perhaps the AB's are working and he'll learn to take medication? Hope so.

He's gone back to his barracks now so we'll see how he is this weekend. Thanks for the support guys, much appreciated!

Agree, no news is good news. I'm sure if they had found anything, they would be on the phone ASAP.

Aw Aimee! I'm sure it's just a nasty chest infection. Half of the hospital I work in have this virus thing at the moment. It lasts for weeks and weeks. It's highly unlikely to be lung cancer hun. And I agree that no news is good news. Hope all is well...let us know how he gets on xx

The tests came back normal. All that worrying for nothing! Thank you for your support, you really are life savers sometimes!

Now hopefully I can get rid of whatever I have..
