Newbie future dog owner :)

Hey everyone

My name's Zoe. I found this site off Google and it looks great, so I joined!

I don't have any dogs yet, but I should be getting a BC next summer after we have moved to the south lakes. (should be some nice English walks in the lake district!)

Since I don't have a dog, here's a Googled picture of a dog I wish I had!

Looking forward to reading the forums!

Hiya and welcome.

Whereabouts are you moving to in the South Lakes? That is where I was born and brought up There are some fabulous walks in the area.

The dog in the piccie looks just like my friend's puppy Jed

I have friends in Ulverston. I was born in Kendal and lived in Grange over Sands until I left home. My parents and one of my sister's still lives there.

Are you looking for a show-bred merle puppy or a working-bred merle pup?

What's it like in Scotland in comparison? I've never been there!

I'm thinking a show bred pup but any advice is welcome!

Scotland (where I am anyway) is much quieter, and has a more wild kind of beauty. The Lakes is gorgeous but is so busy!

Good luck with the move.
