Floyd, young Staffie X, 10 months old
Floyd, young Staffie X, 10 months old
His Story: Found stray, rescued from a Welsh pound with his ?sister.
Salient points: Staffie x Collie under one year. Needs to learn to engage in commands, a little "flighty". Emotionally engaging with people. Good with other dogs. Initially curious about cats, horses and livestock, no aggression.
Advert: Floyd is a beautiful leggy Staffie Cross who may well have Collie present. His colouring, coat and tail mimics Collie genetics! His spirit a Staffie Collie feel; affectionate, friendly and keen. Floyd is about 10 months old - gets on with dogs, people and would be good with children though needs to learn how to keep all 4 paws on the ground! The tongue also is very well exercised on greetings! What a great project for a keen family looking for a dog who they can bring through into adulthood retaining their sense of humour! He will learn to settle, respect and brings his emergent skills together. Floyd has just been neutered, vax'd and chipped.
At the moment he needs socialisation and exercise. This is a young dog for a active family. A beauty to behold, who looks like a young foal. He smiles with his eyes and is desperate to meet and greet. His arrival in our rescue means he is safe and loved. His family will pick up with his needs and after 6 months pf focused training- a brilliant, truly lovely natured dog will be evident. Floyd in your kitchen? Fancy a Barbee? ... secure the hatches Floyd's in town!
"Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found".
