(Part2) Get a quote from Direct Line.. and add it to this thread :)

Previouisly we had a similar thread on More Than pet insurance, where we wondered how the quotes would vary from person to person / breed/area etc, this time we can try:

www.Direct line Pet Insurance.co.uk

(When I put my tel number in i just made one up as I didn't want any phone calls 07779123456 )

I was quoted £14.15 per month with Direct Line although I had to put Rockys breed as cross breed as they didnt have his breed in there More than quoted me only £9.34 !!
(Rocky is a Presa and will be 3 in November)

If you go through the quote let us know what you were quoted Might be handy to mention the age and breed of your dog too along with what More than quoted you.

£25.45 for one of them or £46.45 for the pair. with £65 excess. About the same as more than.
Again too expensive compared to what we already have which is about £16.00 each with no excess on Rio and £50 excess on Syd

£14.70 was Finn's quote and thats the advanced policy. £2 dearer than when I tried it last month.

Star's was £15.82 not a bad quote either.

Syd was 22.13 for the advanced policy - which is the one I would opt for.
17.02 for the standard.

My year is up with M&S in December and so will be doing some shopping around I think!!

I put my three dogs that live with me in KC -as a nearly 9 year old(he's actually 10 this month)JD(Cavalier) who is 6 & Rjj(BC 15 months)got a quote of £42.10 a month (& of course the wouldn't really cover KC & wouldn't pay for his heart meds if they did )& the Excess was £65 with foreign travel

Works out at nearly £500 a year KC meds cost less than that !
