All is back to normal at the office and my opticians apologised profusely and are making me a totally new pair of specs. England beat Slovenia, it’s Friday tomorrow and the weather is glorious

Very strange here this morning. Michael did text me at 4.45pm yesterday to let me know he had landed safely then he rang at 8pm for a quick chat.

Mums this morning and popping into see Gill on the way.

I am mean't to be travelling up to Darlington this afternoon ready for the funeral tomorrow of my dear friend who died in my arms. First I have to ring my vets and see if they or anywhere they know will board Shady till I get back on Saturday, if not I have to try and find a pet ambulance that will transport her from my vet to the specialist as its far too much for Charly to care for her as Shady is at the moment, with her most important A level exam tomorrow.
Failing that I won't be able to go which will make me feel terribly guilty as the family of the lady have already paid for my train travel there and back and paid for me to stay in a lovely hotel. Today is going to be very hectic I think.

Im so sad today, one of our dogs (perdi one of the BSDs) died yesterday, she was 9. my O/H is heartbroken

Morning Vicki, morning all. All quiet in our house overnight which is a good thing. Cassie's started her new meds so fingers crossed all goes well. It's our 10th wedding anniversary today which is why we were going to the Lakes but it will now be spent at home with an Indian Takeaway. Sounds good to me. Have a good Thursday all

Well today I'm having to emerge from my little office and go into the main office due to 4 of my colleagues being away . . . 2 at Glastonbury and 2 at a Wedding in Devon . . . !!!! The upside is I get to see the outside world, the downside is I now have to work with a real lazy bitch who even finds it hard to get off her huge backside to answer a bladdy phone . . . . ggrrrrrrr !!!! God help me for the next 2 days . . . think I rather have my finger nails ripped from my hands or a red hot poker stuck up my **** than endure her torment . . . !!!!!

Glorious weather we are having here, nice to wear summer clothes!! Off to the vets soon for the first post op check up, they seem okay, but need their stitches checked and Jamie's is all wrapped up, as is Codee's... so we will see.
Hope you can get something sorted for Shady Bev, if I could drive, I would help you out hun xx
