i'm sorry gill.
there comes a point where you cant do anymore than what your doing,as much as polo didn't understand what was happening to him or why you some things have to put your feelings aside and look at the situtation for what it is.
you did your best by polo and spared him from getting worse with time, thats a very hard thing to do when your emotions are against you.

A huge thanks to everyone for your kind wishes. It does help.
With the help of a couple of friends, I buried Polo today next to Polly. He had his best collar on with his last 1st place rosette attached, and his favourite toy. We laid him on his blanket and I said goodbye.
No doubt he has found Polly already and is being bossed around again!
Deccy is grieving too and very edgy. In a way, I'm glad I'm out of work so he can come everywhere with me until things settle.
I spend the rest of the afternoon working on the house, to keep busy.....

really feel so sad for you, just keep on going, things have got to turn the corner soon for you. Big hugs from the Norties and myself to Deccy and you ((((((()))))))
