Something stuck in my Dogs Paw, cactus?

It has been 12 days since we noticed these 2 spots on our Puppies foot, I have not noticed it getting worse, but also its not getting better, My girlfriend took her for a hike and noticed it afterwords, maybe a cactus? or a thorn? But Ive looked with a loupe (30X) after a good bath tonight and see nothing poking through, there is some blood but nothing to pull out? Will this eventually work its way out or should I bring her in to the vet?

Personally I would take her to the vet to have it checked. Our dog had similar recently we could though just see something poking out but wren't able to grab it.
Vet with their specialist tweezers had it out in a minute. It was a tiny piece of sharp gravel.
