When a man goes out to go in the men who are out to try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.

Thers are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and decide when the men who are in are out.

When bothsides have been in and all the men out and both sides have been out twice, after all the men have been in, including thoses who are not out, thats the end of the game."

Hope that helps

P.s I'm only just in Yorkshire, if that gives me any leeway??

Oh and how many people are on each side, whether they're in, out or shaking it all about?

Eleven on each side.

They dont shake it about they have things called boxes to stop that.

Remember years ago my daughter came home from school and I was watching a test and she asked "whos winning" I said "dont be silly they have only been playing for three days" she stormed off upstairs muttering I was an idiot, years later she is now into cricket and fully understands my retort.

Even my wife who hates me and is also Irish dismissed this great game until she saw the 1981 Botham game and after became a cricket fanatic.

The best game since 1981 and might even have been better

After 3 days of hearing nothing but cricket from OH, we went to the pub tonight, only for him to watch the highlights on sky, whilst I listen to the juke box. As you can imagine I got drunk and he had to carry me home.

That's a shame!

Am kinda getting into the cricket now, by that I mean I actually care how they're doing now. Which is definitely a move in the right direction!

I'm quite surprised we're doing well too!
