Chuck - 5 year old male Staffie

Chuck, Staffie, DOB 18.11.08 – Welling, Kent


Homing Requirements: Chuck needs to be an only dog even though he has always had dog company. He needs walks on an extender lead and general supervision on meeting other dogs. He can be left. Travels well and is housetrained and non destructive. Well mannered.

His Story: Chuck was bought as a puppy with his litter sister. They have lived together for 4 years but have had occasional fights whilst no one was in the house. Sadly his family are seeking a new home for him to enjoy as an only dog. Chuck is neutered and vax'd.

Advert: Chuck will make you Chuckle. He is a calm dog, caring and seeks company unobtrusively. Not one for being over fussed and can give out little moans or grumbles both when disturbed but equally when having his tummy rubbed, he is just a vocal Staffie talker. Has been around children but lived with older children. Chuck is still in his home in South East London.

Chuck is a 4 year old black brindle Staffie who has only ever known love. He has a clear health record and his vaccinations have been kept up to date. He loves to play footie and he is happy to sit or lie and just watch. He is a chilled dog happy in his own company. A special Staffie looking for his ever so caring home.

Chuck was a much more relaxed boy this visit and kept us all entertained with a little snack orientation lesson ...

Chuck is currently in boarding kennels and available to foster until his forever home comes along.

An update from Anne, one of our kennels volunteers ...

"Chuck is a very special boy and I love walking him. As you enter his kennel his tail starts wagging and he grabs (gently) something to hold onto while you put his harness on. He loves the field and runs around happily on the extension lead always waiting for you to catch up if you are lagging behind He shows his affection in a quiet, gentle way but once he knows you he is happy to share cuddles.
