Just for the girls ( Colposcopy )

Well ive had what i hope is my last Colposcopy appointment today. If the cells come back clear i have to go back to my GP in a year then no more until 3 years. woo im so happy.

Also as im such a nervous person, in my last 3 appointments its really shown and lets just say.... made things a bit arkward. So i got prescribed some vallium, 1 2mg tablet last night and the same again in the morning. And wow this makes a HUGE difference. It just made me not as nervous, and ive never felt like that before. The woman was so pleased with me and said that the vallium definately works with me, and that i should take it for any future colposcopy / smear appointments.

So if anyone has the same prob as me, with being an extremly nervous person, id advise you to see your doc about taking a very low dose of vallium before the appointment.

Wow, it never would have occurred to me that valium would be used like that, but it does make sense. Great tip!

Thanks for the tip... there are a few things the hospital have wanted to do with me and I've ended up going without due to my 'GA or not at all!' approach!!

Congratulations on not having to go back for a while
