Tonks and Remus.

Hello, don't know if anyone remembers me, well Tonks is five years old now and last week we got a new addition to our family. He's a 16 week old bull lurcher pup called Remus! He is huge and him and tonks are firm friends already. Here they are.

Hi Minihaha! He's very cute isn't he. We got him from hounds first sight hound rescue. He's amazingly calm and chilled, doesn't try to jump up at or nibble are children, who are only 2 and 3 years. Amazing really as he spent the first 12 weeks of his life in an abandoned caravan!

Yes I think he is and will be able to match her strength. She is 4 stone now, at her best weight, but he is likely to be 27 + inches at the shoulder so will make up in height what he'll lack in girth.

Beautiful dogs Nice to see they have settled in well together

Thank you. You wouldn't think they had on,y been together a week. Tonks has only ever met two dogs she didn't like. One attacked her straight away and she just lay on the ground...the other one kept going at her and they ended up having a quick scuffle. She is very laid back and very patient with him. She's happy for him to snuggle up to her. The only issues he seems to have is a bit of separation anxiety, which is understandable, and he's a bit barky for my liking...but is learning fast. He is sleeping next to our bed because it became clear the first night that he was not a downstairs dog...the howling woke the whole house and the neighbours on both sides He doesn't to get in our bed and doesn't even get out of his bed when he's desperate for a wee at 5am each morning.....just lies there doing mega loud whiney yawns....funny pup!
