Video Help Please

Right you techie folk, listen up 'cos I need your help.

I have a video that, I think, is saved/made/whatever as AVI.

I don't know how to upload it on here, Photobucket won't let me upload it and neither will YouTube or book of the face.

I have no idea how to change the file type either. Or save the video from the disc to the computer.

Yes, I am a technophobe!

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much!
