Strange question

Hi. I have 2 Brittany Spaniels that are 4 months Old. one of them has me concerned. Her genitals are somewhat protruding downward. At first glance I thought she was a boy. But after looking at her laying on her back she is a girl. We've only had her 2 days only thing I noticed is that takes her a while to start peeing after she squats. We are planning is n having her spayed so I don't know if this matters or not. Should I be concerned.

Are you sure they are only 4 months? Are they both female?

One thing to bear in mind ( and vet should be able to confirm either way) she could be coming into season. So keep her away from boys as a precaution till you've seen the vet

Yes girls definitely swell downstairs when they come into season and it can treble in size. They can get pregnant even without the bleeding so be careful.
Bitches are supposed to come into season roughly every 6 months but mine started at 9 months and had a season every 3 months so you can never tell.
