Help a dog chill in the heat!

Hi guys

A bit of advice on a silly question:

I'm sitting in my apt, and its hot.

Bella, my friend's semilonghaired GSD, is really hot. Can I shower her in a bit chilled water? Not icecold!!!!

Luna doesn't seem to have the same problem. Bella is panting (?) really really fast, is there something I can do to ease her a bit?

Star has her cooler bed (recommended by Moo) which keeps her cool in the house. I also have a fan on to keep the house cool.

Outside I have a water spray that I use to hose her down.

Not sure if a cold shower would be a shock to the system. Someone might be able to give better advice.

I had problems getting Stars bed, they are imported from the US. I think I hunted every pet shop in the UK to find one.

Here is a link for it

It is a brilliant bed. Moo has one for Mia and she recommended it to me.
