Bio-mats - has anyone here used one?

A family member asked me to look up these things on the internet and I found this: http://www.bio-mats.com (Please remove the link if not allowed, I was just posting it so people can see what they are).

They are extremely expensive. I can't understand how they can work, and the supposed list of benefits seems far too good to be true.

If any of you here have ever used one of these, please can you leave some feedback that I can pass on to allow my relative to make a better informed decision about whether to buy one.

I would like to know:

1. Where you got your bio-mat from and who made it
2. What benefits you were hoping for (but only if you don't mind telling)
3. How often (and for how long each time) you used it
4. Are you still using it
5. Did it (or does it) help with your answer to 2
6. What (if any) other benefits did you notice

Thanks in advance for any information anyone can give me.

If it seems too good to be true - IMO it usually is!

This is the cost of a single mat
Retail: $2,400.00 + $100.00 shipping

You can buy heat pads here for under £30

Thanks folks, you have pretty much summed up my thoughts on the matter.

My aunt has terminal cancer and is now clutching at straws (not that I can blame her in the least for not wanting to give up) and has been talking to "faith healer" types, one of whom recommended she get one of these mats.

The problem now is going to be how to break it to her.

Hi Bek are we talking humans here

I am so sorry I can understand anyone clutch at straws here .

My advice would be to go with that which is known to help, eat a diet as free of additives as possible with lots of organic fruit, vegetables, grain and fish as possible also plenty of rest, no stress and gentle excercise.

I wish your Aunt well...
