Laptop buying advice

Hi

am thinking of finally biting the bullet and getting a laptop for work as my current pc(dell) is doing my head in and work will only r4eplace with another dell - which I do not want....

need some advice on laptops
basically want one

with: large memory space as lots of work (travel programs etc ) to go on it.
wireless technology
nice looking !!
good make

it doesnt have to have all the programs as work will supply all of these if i supply the machine.

If i have to have this dell for another year the big hammer is going to be used on it !!
any advice on laptops would be appreciated
dani
