I shut it down at night but leave it plugged in.

Will it really save money if I leave it turned on? How does that work then? What about the fan? Very confused.

Think it's a good idea to shut it down at night but I've always been told that you shouldn't switch them on and off a lot as the components in them heat up and expand so switching on and off all the time will wear out the components faster through expanding and contracting!??





That's what I'm told!
