Benson - 7 year old male Terrier x Staffie

Homing requirements: Knows basic training commands. Secure fair sized garden. Shares well with another dog he trusts. Grew up in a young family. We are looking for a home with older children or an adult home.

His Story: Lost his home as he was being tormented by a toddler. Benson was homed by his fostering family to live with another dog and with 2 children. He was frightened by the 7 year old boy and bit in fear which is an echo of his 1st home.

Advert: Benson is 4 years old. A young terrier with brindle flecks throughout his coat showing the Staffie sweetness in there too. Benson is friendly to people and dogs ... such a sociable dog. Benson is house trained and has basic commands. Benson could live with another dog providing treats are managed as he learns to share. He adores life, family and fun. Now neutered, vax'd and chipped. Currently fostered in Byfleet, Surrey.

Benson lived in with a busy young family; was fostered with 5 terriers, and was homed with children and another dog! They are happy to retain him until his home is found. He loves his walks and has a nice balance of wanting to meet dogs, but can be called away easily as he has a real connection with you. He is fun to walk and his dog skills were good but he needs his confidence rebuilding. Benson is a sweetheart ... whose home must surely be just around the corner.

Had a lovely walk with Benson. He is such a healthy good looking lad now. He is joyful and fun. He settled in with a walk with Stanley very well. He walks wonderfully on the lead. He needs confidence coming through the lead and 'good boys' and he 'is' the perfect dog. He can incidently catch with his teeth when really excited his good intentions are displayed all over his demeanour; his 'love bites' are incidental and given with affection.
